Our approach to horses is based on the ability to connect with them on a
level of calmness and understanding in a safe natural way. We have three basic rules: 1) I must be safe, 2) anyone else around must be safe and, 3)
the horse must be safe. We do not believe in forcing a horse to learn
from severe bits, tie downs, or other mechanical device, or the use of drugs or steroids to inhumanly enhance performance. We believe
that the secret to a safe, respectful, and lasting relationship with
your horse comes from the willingness of your horse to do what you ask,
not from fear or being forced to do so, but from the respect and
confidence that your horse gains by allowing him/her to make the
correct choices. Basic groundwork is the solid foundation that will
produce the reliable results in a horse. Think about the foundation of
a house...any cracks or faults will bring down the whole house over
time. But if that foundation is solid and dependable, that house will
last many many years. We have learned that once you have the respect,
trust, and confidence of a horse they will follow you anywhere. And
that my friend will allow you to do things with your horse that will
last a lifetime! Feel free to come by the farm and meet some of our horses. They speak best of our training and horsemanship skills.
We look forward to working with you soon!
